Tomè Creations is a South African lifestyle and events company built around a simple belief: the little details matter.
What began from a love for creating thoughtful, personalised gifts has grown into a multi-faceted creative business bringing together home fragrance, gifting, picnics, tablescapes and catering.
Tomè Creations was born during a period when life changed dramatically. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the founder began exploring creativity from home, learning new skills, experimenting with products and discovering the joy of turning ideas into tangible experiences.
What started as creativity became a business, and eventually something bigger: a space where beauty, functionality, personalisation and meaningful experiences meet.
Today, Tomè Creations operates as the mother brand for several specialised offerings, each with its own personality while sharing the same commitment to quality and thoughtful execution.

The founder’s story
From creativity at home
to a growing lifestyle brand.
Tomè Creations is deeply personal to its founder, Matome Pege.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, working from home created an unexpected opportunity to explore creativity outside her professional career in executive and administrative support. Curious and determined, Matome began teaching herself how to work with machinery, develop products, create branding and experiment with different techniques, often learning through online resources and simply figuring things out along the way.
What started as an experiment gradually became a creative outlet, and then a business. Over time the vision expanded beyond personalised gifts, into a collection of experiences and products designed to make ordinary moments feel more intentional, from a beautifully packaged gift, to a carefully styled picnic, to a fragrance that makes a home feel inviting.
Gaisang Essence Collection was created as part of that evolution, bringing together Matome’s love for beautiful spaces, fragrance and meaningful gifting. The name Gaisang carries a deeply personal significance and represents the idea of shining and outshining, a reminder that something beautiful can emerge from even the most difficult seasons.
